There are many amazing things about rock climbing in Scotland, the rock, the heritage the uncertainty with the weather. One of our favourite trips is to climb the three best known Sea Stacks in the Highlands- The Old Man of Stoer, Am Buachaille and the Old Man of Hoy. We will start with Stoer then move North climbing Am Buachaille before heading to Orkney for the old Man of Hoy a climb immortalised in film in 1967 when it became the scene of the BBC’s first major outside broadcast of any mountain sport. You can still find it online here.
