Imagine some of the most sculpted granite then put it in some rugged mountain on an island in the Mediterranean famous for its culture, food and wine and you have Corsica. This is our favourite place to rock climb, Corsica has some great sport climbing but it is the trad climbing on amazingly featured rock that keeps calling us back. We base ourselves from Zonza near the Col du Bavella where we have quick access to some unique multi-pitch adventures. The best time to climb in Corsica is spring and autumn, it is possible in July and August but it is very hot so we would suggest June and September into early October as being the best time to visit.
